Summary/Abstract: Polish power industry sector has recently faced serious challenges. Due to steadily increasing electricity demand and confirmed ecological commitments in the EU, Poland is in position to diversify the structure of electricity generation. From ecological point of view the good and economical alternative for the electricity generation from variable resources can be nuclear power industry.
