Summary/Abstract: The paper approaches the problematic of the motivation for learning in Higher Education. The study emphasizes the results of a recent research accomplished using a semi-structured essay addressed to 130 students, aged between 19 and 24 years, from various faculties from University of Bucharest. Therefore is divided into two sections, one that substantiates the importance of the motivation of students and second section are presented the main reasons to learning in opinion the students. Results of the analysis of research data shows that students consider a major motivation for learning in the classroom.
