Business model vs. strategy and strategic management

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author discusses the problem of relations between business model and strategy and strategic management. Firstly, the author depicts the concept of business model and different approaches to its definition, including the process, system and holistic approach. Then he tries to place business model in the context of strategic management process. Finally, he claims that strategy is the set of long term goals of company and business model is its architecture which implemented properly supports gaining these goals.
