Summary/Abstract: In the field of education, in recent decades, a great importance has been attached to the activation of students in the process of teaching – learning – assessing, as knowledge is not habit-forming by itself, but by the process covered to reach it. In this context, several pedagogical theories were developed on training and education from the perspective of the active-interactive approach. The active approach of the educational process must be seen as a higher type of training based on the activation of the trainees, on involvement and their active and complete participation in the self-training process. The interactive approach is a higher type of training including an active training plus interactions, intellectual exchanges, ideas, confrontation of opinions with arguments between subjects. In the academic environment, for students to absorb in an active way and to understand the information / knowledge received, in order to integrate them into their own system of knowledge, the interactive lecture can be used successfully.
