Summary/Abstract: The following text, a kind of a summary of the literary output of Bolesław Matuszewski, was prepared for the publication of a collection of writings entitled "Boleslas Matuszewski. Écrits cinématographiques" (Paris 2006). It is the re-edition of two brochures published by Matuszewski in Paris in 1898. Czeczot-Gawrak comments on the collection and evaluates the importance of the brochures, stressing his contribution to the history of film thought.
