Summary/Abstract: The accounting information system in every entity should function effectively. This means that it must be properly managed to meet all its tasks and to generate the lowest cost possible. For this reason, it may be necessary to make an investment decision. That is why the article presents the specifics of such a decision, and also describes methods that can be used to evaluate investments relating to the sphere of accounting.
