L’ANONYMAT SERIEL DANS LES ROUMAINS DERACINES DE PAUL MICLAU

Summary/Abstract: The absence of proper names has been already studied by Tamara Ceban. This is to show that substitutes for proper names are numbered serially: Uncle 1 Uncle 2 Uncle 3, 4 Uncle. For women there is the series: She 1, She 2, She 3, She 4, She n. The same serialization without numbering relates to localities, villages, towns, industrial towns, capitals. However, there are the names of animals such as cows, horses. To the explanations already given for this absence is added, I think, the problem of censorship that turns speech into text timeless without precise spatial cues. Can we talk about misogynism in serialization of the numbering of women? The novel Uprooted Romanians was written in 1985, when it was impossible to be published in its French version in Romania. With prolonged efforts, it was published in France only in 1995. Meanwhile, it was released the Romanian translated version by the author himself in 1994 at the Prietenii Cartii Publishing House, Bucharest. In the French version, the author introduced proper names for people and communities.
