Summary/Abstract: Diplomacy is an art that expresses the ability of states to impose themselves on the international stage. The history of diplomacy is fascinating and full of questions and answers. Since ancient times diplomacy has been an integral part of the states. Diplomatic concepts have been developed throughout history. Throughout its long history diplomacy has seen times of peak, in peace, but also declines in the war. The most developed states needed strong diplomacy, therefore they organized it effectively. The main purpose of diplomacy is to promote the political beliefs and values of a state. The diplomatic evolution is interconnected to the political history of the world.
