Farmers' social security fund in Polish agricultural budget in the long term

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the matter under discussion is the analysis of the budget’s acts in the years 1989-2015 in order to estimate the size and growth of the funds destined for the realization of the social policy in the agricultural economy, which is realized in this sector through FSSF. These analyzes were placed in the reality of expenditure on the agricultural sector in total in Poland. The article ends with conclusions being the diagnosis of the past and determining the perspective of FSSF, showing a necessity of reform of social services for farmers.
