Klastry energetyczne jako narzędzie wspierania rozwoju nowoczesnych systemów elektroenergetycznych
Energy clusters as a tool of support of development of modern electroenergy systems

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays there is significant development in the energy sector, which will result in many changes in the reorganization of the whole electroenergy system. They are connected with modern trends concerning the energy sector such as higher energy security and investing in the local energy sources (mostly using renewable energy sources, such as wind and sun). The above is an undeniable market opportunity for the widely understood business. One of the possible directions of the energy market change are energy clusters appearing as an advanced form of association of local energy producers. The purpose of this publication was to review the cluster initiatives in the field of renewable energy in Poland and to prove the possible directions of their development. The analysis demonstrated an early stage of development and limited innovation of renewable energy clusters in Poland. Therefore, an international initiative of energy clusters and their positive effect either on the power system or on the socio-economic sphere were presented.
