LUMINA MAGAZINE - ARCHITECT AND PROMOTER OF ROMANIAN CULTURE IN VOJVODINA

Summary/Abstract: Since the early years of first issue (1947) Lumina magazine became cultural, where debuted famous authors of Vojvodina. The presented program at the first meeting of the Literary Circle Lumina provided Romanian writers from Yugoslav multicultural area, necessitate to express itself in their mother tongue and to in all genres, carefully studying the development of all types. Literary creation should be through form Romanian and Yugoslav, social and progressive by content. The magazine was considered as "cultural focus" where literary works knead future. Magazine Lumina meant for Romanian literature in Vojvodina opening of other literally spaces, balanced trend of synchronization with Romanian literary phenomenon on the one hand, and on the other side following of new trends in world literature, but without departing from Yugoslav literature space, later Serbian.
