Summary/Abstract: As a signatory of a series of universal international human rights instruments, Serbia is under the obligation to submit periodic reports to the UN committees. Serbia had to submit its report to the UN Committee against Torture, but it didn't happened. On the other hand, Serbia submitted its report to the UN Committee on Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Government also began preparing the report for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, which is to be submitted by the end of 2013. There were also strong indications that the state would finally submit its report to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in early 2013, with an almost two-year delay.
