Summary/Abstract: The article deals with strategic management of banks. The authors try to evaluate the impact of New Capital Accord and the related changes on the amount of banks’ capital. The paper analyses the bank’s reputation and responsibility for its activity as well as the problems of creation of strategic perspective and architecture. It is offered to apply principles of sustainable banking in bank management.
