Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to reveal ethical issues of sustainable development and their interrelations with social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, as well as to analyse the possibilities to apply ethical tools seeking to achieve social and environmental goals of sustainable development. The ethical tools of a social and environmental regulation are the most flexible ones while dealing with social and environmental problems of sustainable development, therefore the main attention in the article is devoted to them.
