Summary/Abstract: Wedding tourism is a new and growing form of tourism, both in terms of incoming and outgoing tourism to Poland. In some countries in the world, wedding package for tourists is a well prospering tourist product. Due to the competitive price, high quality, well-developed tourist infrastructure and great attractions, Poland may be a successful destination weddings tourism market. The purpose of the article is to examine the possibility of the wedding tourism development in Poland with particular attention to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. It will be made based on the analysis of the tourism potential of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, statistical data on the number of marriages granted in the Town and Municipality of Wieliczka, salt mine in Wieliczka and the opinion of 5 Events travel agency specializing in incoming and outgoing destination wedding tourism.
