Summary/Abstract: The article aims to research documents and archival files — mostly inventories and library registers of collections of magnates, noblemen, and townsmen, with special emphasis on Lviv as the capital of the Ruthenian Province. In Lviv cashbooks, there are notes on successive bindings of administrative and judicial books, file books, as well as librarian prints and manuscripts belonging to the Lviv City Council book collection.
