The concept and legal nature of the investment interest in "Life" insurance -linked fund

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses issues related to life insurance connected to an investment fund contract. The use of the term „investment fund” in connection with this insurance determines the necessity to differentiate between it and the term “investment fund” under the Activities of Collective Investment Schemes and Other Collective Investment Undertakings Act. The focus of the article is on the issue of the concept and the legal nature of the investment interest in the context of life insurance connected to an investment fund. The two elements - investment and interest, included in this term are analyzed. The connection and the correlation between insurable interest and investment interest in life insurance related to an investment fund are examined.
