Summary/Abstract: In language didactics perception holds an important place. It is usually explored in terms of individual learner differences, or in relation to beliefs and expectations of the participants of the learning process towards its different components. In this article, the author aims at exploring the ideas that French learners have about teaching of perception vocabulary, and its efficiency and necessity, by means of an open-ended questionnaire.
