Taxonomic analysis of the diversity of the standard of living in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Standard of living is one of the most significant determinants of socio-economic development. The increase of the standard of living of inhabitants of Poland is a fundamental aim of the National Development Strategy in the years 2007-2015 and of the Long-term National Development Strategy “Poland 2030. Third Wave of Modernity”. The primary objective of the European Union’s integration processes is also reducing the differences in the living standards of the population of every region. It is connected with the need for the continuous monitoring of changes in the population standard of living. The study attempts to identify the differences in living standards in individual Polish voivodeships in year 2013.
