Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the repressions against the Orthodox clergy in Nevrokop eparchy of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church after the 9th of September 1944. It analysis the social side of the issue, respectively the financial help provided by the Nevrokop Metropolia to the repressed priests and their families in the serious situation they faced. The period covered is 1944–1948 when the eparchy was led by Metropolitan Boris, one of the most prominent opponents to the Communist Party gaining positions after the takeover on 9th of September 1944.
