Summary/Abstract: The present study analyses the theological work of Nichifor Crainic as well as the specific factors of his poetic research,this article aims to highlight his philosophical and theologian contribution, concerning the Orthodox mysticism. In this regard his initiatives are of highly importance because he introduced the mystique as a discipline in the theological academic space, and through his writings and ideas, Crainic contributed to the creation of a true science of mysticism. His ideas will be of great influence on hi theological successors Ioan G. Savin, Dumitru Stăniloae or Nicolae Mladin.
