Summary/Abstract: This study reframes the concept of “God’s dwelling” in the Septuagint and its avoidance in the Septuagint of Exodus and Deuteronomy within the Literature of Second Temple Judaism. Some seemingly avoiding passages are the result not of avoiding anthropomorphism but of intending a sentence in accordance with normal scenery.
