Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the andragogy approach and its peculiarities while modeling the continious professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff. The theoretic and methodological basis for modeling of lifelong professional development covers the following constituents: andragogy, competence-based, and modular approaches. These constituents aim at facilitating management of individual educational trajectory in various qualification enhancement courses or life-long professional development.
