Summary/Abstract: The {Nordic Atlas of Language Structures} has been created using data gathered in two research infrastructure tools, i.e. the {Nordic Dialect Corpus} and the {Nordic Syntax Database}. The infrastructure contains Scandinavian dialect data, both spontaneous (corpus) and elicited (syntax database). The main goal of the atlas is to give an up-to-date description of Scandinavian dialect syntax. The atlas consists of 60 papers on central syntactic phenomena that display variation across the Scandinavian languages and contain short descriptions of the discussed phenomena and empirical findings on them in the research infrastructure. In the present paper this is shown based on two examples of how data from the {Nordic Dialect Corpus} and the {Nordic Syntax Database} can be utilised in the atlas, thus giving new insight into the field of Scandinavian syntax but also having clear theoretical implications.
