Summary/Abstract: The introduction to the volume Foucauldian Perspective in Contemporary Research consists of two parts. The aim of the first part is a brief presentation of the main directions in contemporary studies inspired by Michel Foucault’s legacy to which belong, for example, studies in biopolitics, governmentality studies, critical analysis of neoliberalism, dispositive analysis, and reflection on the categories of critique and parrhesia. The second part characterizes the thematic field of the volume, which reflects the multidimensionality and complexity of post-Foucauldian research.
