Summary/Abstract: Prosecutor's office Court Miercurea Ciuc calls for a point of view, under the NCCD competence, about actions of the singer of the band KARPATIA, Petras Janos Laszlo, consisting of inserting messages xenophobic and nationalist extremism in the lyrics of his songs but also in singer-public dialogue.The NCCD is called to rule on the relationship between freedom of expression and the right to dignity, the prohibition of discrimination based on the statement of the suspect. This survey is a specialist viewpoint without legal obligation and is issued at the request of the prosecutor, which assuming the obligation to decide on the outcome of the criminal case and possible determination of the type of legal liability, so that a possible interference of the state in freedom of expression to meet the standards of ECHR jurisprudence.
