PRINCIPLES OF FOLKLORE IN THE ART WORLD OF S.A. YESENIN. CASE OF THE POEM "THE BLACK MAN"

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the folklore tradition in Yesenin's poetry. The main goal of the study was to carry out comparative analysis of Yesenin's literary output and Sufism philosophy. The folklore is considered in a context of ceremony, ritual and the myth in theoretical aspect. The author focuses also on the tradition of skomoroshestvo and knight symbols thus East poetry and the German romanticism were reflected in esenin's poem “Black Person” which is considered from the point of view of historical poetics. Research showed that the poem "Black Person" contains elements of the cultural drama and mystery. Contrary to opinion of many scientists, the idea about dvoynichestvo existence in the poem is disproved. The analysis of internal structure of the text, Yesenin's poetics at the level of archetypes opens other meanings of the poem. The author concludes that Yesenin in his poem “Black Person” argues with folklore in the poem.
