The Work of The Polling Commision in 1945

Summary/Abstract: The author analyzed the activities of the Polling commision in 1945 in Zagreb related to the "crime based on cultural collaboration with the enemy". Numerous prominent Croatian novelists, journalists and artists were charged for the collaboration with the Ustasha regime during the period from 1941 to 1945. The fact is that some of them really supported that regime, but the vast majority of them simply continued to do their job, and were not linked to the activities of the regime. There is a fact that many of them even opposed the Ustashas and their rule.
