Summary/Abstract: The opinion focuses on analyzing capability to exercise the mandate of a Deputy (or a Senator) by the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, or the Insurance Ombudsman whose legal positions are similar. The author claims that according to the provisions governing the legal position of the Inspector General, and even more clearly – those relating to the Insurance Ombudsman – there is incompatibility of these public functions and those of a Deputy (or a Senator), with all the consequences of the violation of this prohibition provided for in the Electoral Code.
