About children’s theatre, whithout prejudice

Summary/Abstract: Performing Arts for children was, and still is, a subject of controversy; the theme, the dramatic structure and the role of this form of theatrical expression - can generate extensive discussion, with pros and cons. The subject is complex and can’t be addressed in a comprehensive way, so we refer especially to the scenarios used, the proposed repertoire, correlating them with the role of this type of show in the spectators’ life. The arguments invoked are only meant to signal the need to address issues regarding the problems of the children’s theatre, without prejudice; only with great responsibility and, above all, with much love.
