Summary/Abstract: In the post-Cold War period, new security threats have emerged. In order to solve these issues, both military and civilian strategies should be implemented. During the Arab Spring, intrastate fighting in Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia and Bahrain occurred. In aiming to find comprehensive solutions to these issues, academicians and politicians can benefit from conflict resolution approaches, such as the strategic-dialogue plan. The case studies examined still exhibit several corrosive factors that lead to the emergence and sustainment of conflict. To eliminate these factors, comprehensive strategies are direly needed. It should be mentioned that these conflicts will likely continue for a long time to come to an end.
