Summary/Abstract: The article is about vocabulary and different combinations of expressions from thearea of various diseases which are in the articles in the monthly “Twój Maluszek” magazine.The authors of the magazine take frequently the issues concerning the childhooddiseases and their symptoms. The lexical material consists of the 136 units, which containsof specialized terms and vocabulary. Words choice are adapted to the diverse skillsand basic medical knowledge of readers
