Summary/Abstract: The main aim of this article is to present the moral theories of Aristotle and Plato for a good. These theories are exerted grand influence on next theoretical interpretations of good and well-being. Good in the Plato’s theory is presented as to highest aim, universal ideal and unconditionally value. Ideal set the model and standards of conduct, living and way to cognition and perfection of people. In ideal-based, pluralistic and hierarchic theory of Aristotle good is simultaneously regarded as both the reality and the higher ideal. It is based on balanced and reasonable definition of aim and choice of practical and virtuous ways to self-realization.
