Summary/Abstract: On the basis of five published interviews with Roma artists (carpenter, knitter, two painters and a musician) the paper gives preliminary results of descriptive processing of the collected data as an incentive for the future research on the Roma cultural identity and current efforts to constitute branched Roma elite.
