Summary/Abstract: The paper’s about the role of Gustav Morel, the prior of the F. Portal’s group, in the formation of the intellectual inter- courses between Russia and France in the first decade of XX century. The author briefly concerns three uniat’s trips to Russia and gives a translation of the uniat’s letter to the religious publicist of the slavophil’school A. Kireev; that contains opinion about positions of The Eastern and The Western Churches and proposals for their reconcilement.
