Summary/Abstract: The equality and diversity debate is here applied to the famous Sears case. In 1978, the Equal Employment Oportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against the retail trade corporation Sears, Roebuck and Company. Historians Alice Kessler-Harris and Rosalind Rosenberg testified in court.
