Summary/Abstract: The objective of the research is to show the possibilities of developing information and communication technologies in social education subjects. Possibilities of developing information and communication technologies in geography, history, economics and entrepreneurship lessons are revealed. ICT application in educational, learning and other activities may be structured into other activities of which communication is part. Advantages of using ICT developmental processes are: development becomes more attractive, multi-sided; a possibility to study at home, to choose a tempo and process of study in agreement with one`s learning styles. Disadvantages of ICT are the nonlearning processes get too much emphasis; knowledge fragmentation and inability of support for value formation.ICT application in subject lessons is broad starting with information search to product creation. With ICT application the learning process becomes more visible, deepens and acquires more aspects, the learners practice in team work and leadership building.
