Summary/Abstract: The results of this study present the extent to which technical translations in Romanian follow the recommendations regarding the properties and qualities of target texts. Cases of acceptability, faithfulness, informativity, grammaticalness, connectedness, clarity, and naturalness are analysed on a series of texts, and several recommendations are made, useful to curricula developers, translation scholars and translation students.
