Summary/Abstract: The article aims at discussing the consequences the activity of big multinational companies has on the written and spoken language. The encounter between the result of these companies activity and their target, THE CONSUMER, is the moment generating our search. The objective evidence we have managed to bring are mainly connected to the written language, but the written language undoubtedly reflects the same thing. We have followed the phenomenon in two language areas, with Romanian, respectively German majorities.
