Summary/Abstract: Research in the field of education, school management and classroom management aims at analysing students’ behaviour. This goal is carried out by relating to the students’ school results, to the teacher’s didactic efficiency, to the quality of the social relations within the school environment. Thus one may explain the quality of the shool and classroom management. Moreover, multiple research has shown that the occurence of disciplinary problems in the classroom has a deep impact on teaching and learning efficiency while if organizing and managing skills are constructed consistently they reduce the occurence of disciplinary problems. The present paper aims at identifying peculiarities of the learning environment at the classroom level. Students' perceptions regarding the teacher's presence and visual control in the classroom, developing group identity in order to identify strategies that improve the sense of belonging to the classroom, cooperation, mutual knowledge, enhancing group cohesion, elements such as “wall papers”(students’ classroom rules, curricula, planned activities, students’ rankings ) represent issues we have focused on in our study.
