Collegial decision-making at a public university in a humanistic perspective

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the correlation between the effectiveness of the decision making process at a public university and the its adopted methods and conditions. A prerequisite for focusing on this topic are the changes implemented to Polish higher education system, particularly broadening universities' autonomy in the didactic by providing them with a freedom to create a major individually.
