COMPETENŢA CULTURALĂ ŞI LINGVISTICĂ ÎN COMUNICAREA PUBLICĂ
CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE WITHIN PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

Summary/Abstract: The article below analyses the relationship between public communication, on the one hand, and cultural and linguistic competencies, on the other hand. We start from the prerequisite that a society that is aware of its cultural values but, at the same time, capable to communicate in various languages to other societies which these values are and why they are important for the world is a society that has a secure national and international future. The present paper is also an urge for the Romanian cultural identity to self-assert in all its aspects both at home and, especially, outside its borders.
