ARTISTIC MUTATIONS – EFFECT OF THE USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

Summary/Abstract: Technologies have always had an impact on the development of various arts, and have deeply modified the societies that promoted them. It should be noted that these changes are some trends more or less powerful in the development of contemporary society, but which cannot, by themselves, cover all the arts today. We could say that we are about to witness a real change in civilization. TV, the computer and the internet – generating three main forms of art, have invaded museums and galleries and are now part of the landscape shared by a large part of humanity, while the hybrid energy which characterizes today’s cultural phenomenon, that of “artistic mutations”, could be presented as a metaphor, and metaphor is that of remixing.
