Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of restructuring of the enterprise has been examined thoroughly both in domestic and foreign literature. However, the very process of restructuring often includes activities that may cause the consequences of an ethical nature. The issue of responsible restructuring has not been widely developed. Therefore special attention should be paid to the issue of restructuring in the context of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Ethical aspects of restructuring can play an important role for the enterprise and its stakeholders, particularly employees in the context of downsizing. Responsible restructuring may also have a strong social dimension. The objective of the study is to identify the relationship between CSR and restructuring and the methods of restructuring, taking into account the ethical aspect. The article also attempts to answer the question about the place of CSR in restructuring, by demonstrating the effects of responsible restructuring procedures for the company, its stakeholders and the society
