Summary/Abstract: The article proposes an approach to revival in contemporary art landscape through artistic creation. After a proposal of clarifying the meanings of the term of scenery and a glimpse of the concept of post-modernist modulations, there are presented, provided due to lack of distance, several significant attitudes in relation to what may be a reflection on the landscape in contemporary art, with examples from several workshop practices of many artists. Thus, there are addressed understandings of the concept of landscape in contemporary art such as variations on the idea of canonic settings, reflexive landscape, simulated or indicated landscape, anthropomorphized landscape, landscape in words, landscape and sound landscape, dreamy landscape, cityscape, landscape rendered itself. Landscape after a long time of being preserved the landscape of dimensional arts, especially of paintings’, contemporary artists are addressing landscape in terms of interference between different artistic zones - traditional and current.
