Summary/Abstract: The problems of realization of the rights of victims from crimes to reparation by the state under the laws of Ukraine. The analysis of the current civil legislation of Ukraine that regulates the relations on compensation of harm from the state to the victim of a criminal offence, the amount of compensation by the state, limit their boundaries, the dependence of the amount of compensation from the material condition of the victim, as a guarantee of observance of the principle of social justice, the establishment of the order of the recourse of the state against persons who have committed a criminal offence
