Summary/Abstract: Too many books about state theory, political science, constitutional law, and alike, continue to profess a theory of the state in accordance with standards of the XIXth century., forgetting the changing world, and the mutations of political and international relations, namely the phenomena of globalization, changes in sovereignty, political and economic integration, etc. This article – Reason(s) and Un-Reason(s) on the Contemporary State. State Theories Critic, aims to critically rethink the state in its most basic reasons, and in its elements, ends, etc.., that is to say, its fundamental concepts. This is not a new theory, or a new thesis, but an analysis of ideas often repeated uncritically.
