Summary/Abstract: This paper describes the dynamics of entry into the first and the second cycle studies in accordance with the Bologna principles at all five departments (Biology, Physics, Geography, Chemistry and Mathematics) of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo. We have analyzed the organization and the level of interest of students for admission to the first and second cycle studies (and exam passing) and their success in passing exams during the study. At the same time we have analyzed the financial effects of the implementation of the Bologna study system. We have performed a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the enrolment, beginning with the academic year 2005/2006 for the first cycle and the academic year 2008/2009 for the second cycle of the study, followed by an analysis of the financial effects at the Faculty of Science in Sarajevo.
