Summary/Abstract: The current issue of “Ekphrasis” is dedicated to the problem of representation and the limits of reality and virtuality in contemporary visual arts. This issue provides examples from cinema, theatre, online gaming, comic books and graphic novels, traditional paintings and naïve painting as well as from other public visual displays.
