Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a comparative analysis of data obtained from modular research carried out by the Central statistical office. The research concerns financing of tourist trips taken by households from 1st October 2000–30th September 2001 and 1st October 2004–30th September 2005. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the structure and the level of funding for tourist trips and the changes that have occurred in this area over the years.
